First Law Comic!
Well, this is good news. Joe Abercrombie, in conjunction with Andie Tong, Chuck Dixon, Pete Pantazis and Bill Tortolini seems to be have hard at work to get this project off the ground.
And the best thing of all? It's free.
I'm so glad they have decided to launch the comic as a webcomic, with three weekly updates to keep us going, The first twelve pages are available right now over at www.firstlawcomic.com. The first issue is also available from Comixology if you can't wait for the updates. It looks damn amazing.
Go look, enjoy and support this brilliant project.

Upcoming reviews
So, I've just finished two books that I've wanted to read for quite a while, so I'm going to take my time with the reviews since I have something to say about both of them. The first one should be up by Friday. And no, I didn't read them both at the same time. I finished one before the weekend and one during. Presenting to you;
Mazarkis Williams' The Emperors Knife:
And then Joe Abercrombies' Red Country:
I like the Abercrombie mappy cover a lot, but I'm not the biggest fan of the hooded man cover.

Joe Abercrombie - A Red Country
Joe Abercrombie has released the first taster of his next book, A Red Country on his website. I'm more excited about this than I was when I was a small kid on Christmas morning. Could this be the return of the Bloody Nine?
“Shy South comes home to her farm to find a blackened shell, her brother and sister stolen, and knows she’ll have to go back to bad old ways if she’s ever to see them again. She sets off in pursuit with only her cowardly old step-father Lamb for company. But it turns out he’s hiding a bloody past of his own. None bloodier. Their journey will take them across the lawless plains, to a frontier town gripped by gold fever, through feuds, duels, and massacres, high into unmapped mountains to a reckoning with ancient enemies, and force them into alliance with Nicomo Cosca, infamous soldier of fortune, a man no one should ever have to trust…”
